Itinerary Description
Let us take you for an unforgettable full-day excursion of the gorgeous Mediterranean island of Capri! Capri is known for its beautiful clear blue waters, for the handmade leather goods, and for the jet-setter lifestyle with countless celebrities spotted every summer!
You will travel to the island of Capri with a fast boat from Sorrento. You’ll visit the caves of the magical Blue Grotto, weather permitting, and the town of Anacapri, where you can take a chairlift up to see the heart-stopping view of the whole island from the top of Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island (1800 feet). After lunch in the picturesque Anacapri you’ll descend to the more chic neighbor town Capri and enjoy the bustling pedestrian streets filled with great shops to spot some celebrities.
You will enjoy another walking tour through the Caesar Augustus Garden to see the beautiful view of the bay of Salerno. In the late afternoon you’ll return to the pier, the Marina Grande, with the famous Funicolare (Cable Car), and take the boat back to Sorrento.
