Itinerary Description
Italy is known for its astounding historical monuments, the beautiful countryside, and the deliciously mouthwatering food and wine.
How about combining the culinary experience with some Roman sightseeing in the oldest parts of the city? Our evening food tour starts from the Jewish Ghetto, a charming Roman quarter intensely packed with cultural and culinary treasures, where you will make your first stop in a traditional Roman specialty restaurant.
Walking along the picturesque cobblestone alleyways, you’ll admire important sights such as the Theatre of Marcellus, the Temple of Apollo, and the Jewish Synagogue.
Near Campo de’ Fiori you’ll get the chance to taste products of some of the best Roman bakeries, continuing your walk towards Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and the Senate House.
You will stop at one of the best trattorias in Rome for a taste of different kinds of pasta accompanied with great local wines.
Another stop for an informative and fun pastries tasting session with delicious cannoli and other local sweets, and last but not least the best coffee and gelato in Rome by the Pantheon!
Our food tour pit stops are mostly family-run businesses with century long histories, some in their third, fourth or fifth generations. We recommend coming with an empty stomach, or you will not finish your plates! Buon appetito!
